Your holiday at Sindabezi Island Camp starts by travelling to the Island, either on a short boat ride or a guided canoe excursion on the Zambezi River.
Sindabezi Island Camp has been completely rebuilt: five new chalets, all set on stilts. The Honeymoon chalets boast baths, and all the chalets have a 'loo with a view'. In addition, the Sindabezi now boasts state-of-the-art solar panelling set amidst the thatch - giving each chalet access to hot water and bedside lighting.

There are now two star-gazing decks at Sindabezi: with a mokoro deck set at the end of island, and the other deck faces the Zimbabwe side of the river and is a wonderful spot for dining and game watching.
Sindabezi Island is wonderful for your honeymoon; it also lends itself as a private venue for families, or small groups of friends. The the Island is booked for private groups, you have your own guide, boat and vehicle throughout your stay.
The main camp area is set on the sand making for a delightful to relax, unwind and simply enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this tiny island, with staff on hand to guarantee your every comfort.
At night, the Sindabezi Island Camp is magically transformed; as you enjoy a romantic and charming 5 star dining experience, with the stars as your canopy.
You are still able to enjoy the variety of activities available at Tongabezi Lodge, with an added 20-minute scenic boat transfer to and from Sindabezi Island. Whilst staying at Sindabezi you will have to chance to visit the Victoria Falls, Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, enjoy a picnic lunch on a deserted island, do a guided canoe excursion on the River; there are also sunrise or sunset River cruises.
You can also explore the Falls and gorges on a guided walk, visit the local museums, or spend some time at the Tongabezi Trust School. There is also the chance to visit the local market, or take a guided bicycle tour to the local village.
Fishing is also popular - a wonderful way to explore the Zambezi, and may be lucky enough to land a fish or two (generally catch and release).
