Victoria Falls Resort
The Victoria Falls Resort is the 3 star sister hotel of the Royal Livingstone, and is also set in Livingstone’s Falls Resort – within the boundaries of the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, overlooking the Zambezi River, and the Victoria Falls waterfall.
Accommodation at Resort is in 212 en suite rooms, which are open and airy. The room design draws from African roots, with the deep colours and rounded walls, with Zambian designs in the décor. The rooms either face the natural ‘bush’ or face inwards to a large, cool, landscaped pool. All accommodation is air-conditioned, and is equipped with electronic safe, Satellite TV and telephone. Most rooms also have private verandas. There is a choice of room types from Standard Suites, to Standard doubles or twins, Standard Queens, and rooms adapted for paraplegic use.

The Victoria Falls Resort offers the Theatre of Food restaurant, with its relaxed and casual atmosphere where you can enjoy a sumptuous buffet breakfasts and dinners.
In addition there is also the Poolside Grill and Pool Deck Bar, with an alfresco grill located alongside the entertainment area at the pool, which is an ideal place to enjoy a light lunch. This is also a great spot for pre-dinner drinks or night-caps.
The Victoria Falls Resort also offers you the Crocodile Café, which is situated close to the Daily Activity Centre, and which offers a variety of sandwiches and light meals. Close by is Squires Grill, with its steakhouse menu to be enjoyed for lunch or dinner.
With its warm, earthy architecture, inspired by a traditional walled village; along with simple finishes highlighted in bright mosaics and fabrics, this Resort makes for a vibrant setting for your hotel in Livingstone.
The Resort is also home to the Daily Activity Centre, where you can arrange your excursions – from River Rafting to cruises, and adrenalin activities for which the area is justly famous (bungee, flying-fox, abseiling for example). Or you might choose a visit to local museums and the craft market.
For the golf enthusiastic, there is the nearby Livingstone Royal Golf Club, established in 1908, and fully restored in 2006. The course is 18-holes, in a magnificent setting, studded with some 118 tree species, and offers a unique golfing experience. You can also make use of the distinctive and genuine Edwardian Club House which extends warm welcome. It offers a five star restaurant experience and club bar both of which overlook the golf course.
