Waterberry Zambezi Lodge
Waterberry Zambezi Lodge is set on the banks of the Zambezi River, some 30 minutes upstream of the Victoria Falls.
Waterberry Lodge has just seven rooms - secluded riverside units, lakeside rooms with extra beds, overlooking the private dam, and two family units with adjoining bedrooms. The bedrooms are all in thatched cottages, and are all en suite. The double, twin or family bedrooms are open to the high thatch (cooling in the hot sun), and are complete with mosquito nets and fans. Several of the rooms have their own decks for sunbathing, bird watching, private dinners or just relaxing.
The central Lodge area is a double-storey building, which overlooks the Zambezi River and the adjacent game park. The upstairs area houses the main lounge, and has plenty of seating, a well-stocked bar and magnificent views.
Meals are served in a number of places: the dining area, on the sun deck or the terrace overlooking the pool. You can even dine privately on your terrace if you so wish (by prior arrangement). Enjoy alfresco meals, traditional bush dinners, or barbecues cooked under the stars. Tea and coffee are always available and the bar is open at all reasonable times.
