Sussi and Chuma offers a variety of activities at the Lodge and you can also enjoy some of the excursions on offer in Livingstone. Enjoy game drives in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. Here the highly trained safari guides take guests on game drives in custom-built 4 x 4 safari, with the chance to see elephant, impala, giraffe, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, and zebra. Birding, too, is excellent.
What better way to enjoy the River that a canoe trip? Enjoy a two hour canoeing excursion on the Zambezi River – either in the morning or afternoon. You start from the lodge and you can combine the canoeing with either a game drive or a boat cruise.
You can also go on a guided Tour of the Victoria Falls – which is just a short drive from the Lodge.
Guests at Sussi and Chuma can also enjoy a Walking Safari, this last some 2 hours and is at a leisurely pace to allow you to learn about and appreciate the area.
A Zambezi River cruise is a must, and a wonderful way to travel – as you go through a series of grade 2 rapids before finding a spot to beach for a break and a sunset cocktail.
The lodge is also very involved in the Nakatindi village, which is only five kilometres away. Village tours are included in your stay, and is filled with children playing and people getting on with their regular day to day.
Fishing is also available between December and March, and is run on a strict "Catch and Release" policy. A private boat can be requested for your fishing trip.
