Every year from late October for about 90 days, in excess of 10 million straw coloured fruit bats (Eidolon helvum) migrate to Kasanka National Park in Zambia. This is arguably the biggest migration of mammals in the world. Bats may not be everyone's cup of tea, but such a spectacle should not be missed, if you are a wildlife enthusiast, and can be combined with more 'conventional' game viewing....
